St James Social Centre is a purpose built amenity, with bowling green, next to the Church. Its facilities include:

• A large Function Room, with dance floor and separate bar, with facilities for catering
• A separate bar and games room
• Bowling green
• Car park

The centre is also the base for the St James Amateur Rugby League Club.
